Hurghada dive safari with Amelie Adventures
May 1–8, 2027 · One week in the Red Sea with how2dive
Come join us on our dive safari from Hurghada! From May 1 to 8, 2027, we’ll spend seven nights together on board the Eyros 1. You can look forward to varied dives, shared meals, and time to relax on the Red Sea.
Up to 21 dives are planned, including night dives. Local and German guides as well as dive instructors will accompany our group. Nitrox, full board, and transfers within Hurghada are already included.
Our dive safari around Hurghada
Our route follows the theme “Best of Hurghada.” Possible destinations include the wrecks of Abu Nuhas, the reefs of the Giftun Islands, and Shaab El Erg, also known as Dolphin House.
Which dive sites we visit depends on weather, sea conditions, and official clearances. The route and the number of dives may change accordingly. Encounters with dolphins and other marine life are possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
How our week will run
May 1 – Arrival and settling in
You’ll arrange your own travel to Hurghada. At the airport, a driver will be waiting for you with an “Amelie” sign and will take you to the boat.
After check-in, we’ll settle into our cabins, take care of the registration paperwork, and get to know the boat during the briefing. Over dinner together, we’ll get in the mood for the week ahead.
May 2 – The first dives
After clearance from the port authority, we’ll start our safari. Two daytime dives and one night dive are planned.
May 3–6 – Diving and relaxing
On these days, up to three daytime dives and one night dive are scheduled each day. Between dives, there’s time for meals, rest, and catching up with the group.
May 7 – Final dives and return
Two final dives are planned early in the morning and in the late morning. Afterwards, we’ll return to the port. We’ll spend the last night on board.
May 8 – Breakfast and departure
After breakfast, we’ll check out. Then you’ll be transferred to the airport or to your hotel in Hurghada.
Please plan your return flight so that there are at least 24 hours between your last dive and your flight.
Our accommodation on board
Two cabin categories are available for the trip:
- Standard cabins: six cabins, each with two single beds
- Suites: two cabins with a small double bed and a single bed above
When you register, please let us know which cabin category you prefer.
Included in the trip price
- seven nights on board in your booked cabin category
- up to 21 dives, depending on weather and conditions
- nitrox
- accompaniment by local and German guides as well as dive instructors
- airport or hotel transfer within Hurghada
- Full board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- snacks and fruit
- drinking water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee
- Cabin towels, shampoo, and shower gel
- Wi-Fi, when available
- Port and fuel fees
For our coffee fans, we’ll also bring French press pots and good coffee.
Diving courses on board

Together, we’ll discuss which course fits your training level and interests and can be integrated into the trip schedule. If you already have a specific course in mind, feel free to contact us before the trip.

Travel and planning
You’ll arrange and pay for your flights and visa yourself. If you have any questions about planning your trip, Stefan will be happy to help.
Please send us your flight or hotel details in good time so we can coordinate the transfer within Hurghada. We’re also happy to clarify any questions about your equipment or diving experience before the trip.
Deposit and final payment
A deposit of €500 is required to reserve your spot. You’ll receive an invoice for this.
The final payment is due on January 1, 2027.
