Diving cylinder refills – Air, Nitrox (and soon Trimix)
At How2Dive, you can have your diving cylinders professionally filled – with high-quality, tested breathing air. Our filling station is BAUER PureAir certified and stands for a high level of quality when filling cylinders.
Why this matters:
Good air quality and a clean filling process are the basis for relaxed, safe dives – regardless of whether you are training at the lake or planning deeper profiles on your travels.
We fill diving cylinders with 200 and 300 bar.
In addition to compressed air (Air), we also offer Enriched Air Nitrox. Trimix is already in preparation and will soon expand our range – for all those who want to go further technically and rely on a reliable setup.
Air & Nitrox – reliable, clean, with a high standard of quality.
Trimix will be available soon – prices on request.
| Cylinder size | 200 Bar | 300 Bar |
|---|---|---|
| 8 L | €7 | €10 |
| 10 L | €8 | €11 |
| 12 L | €10 | €14 |
| 15 L | €12 | €16 |
Nitrox is calculated at the normal filling price plus the oxygen price of €0.03/litre. Nitrox is blended overnight and can usually be picked up the next day.
FAQ – Filling diving cylinders at How2Dive
Which gases can I have filled with you?
You can currently get Air (compressed air) and Nitrox from us.
Trimix is already in preparation and will soon complement our range. This allows you to map your way from relaxed recreational diving to technical setup cleanly and reliably with us.
Why is the BAUER PureAir certification important?
Because it stands for a clear quality standard.
For you, this means: We do not treat air quality as a “by-product”, but as a basis for safety and well-being underwater. You should pick up your cylinder with a good feeling – and go into the water in exactly the same way.
Which cylinder types can you fill?
As a rule, we fill common sport diving cylinders in steel and aluminium.
If you have a special valve, an unusual setup or an older cylinder, we will take a quick look at it together on site – uncomplicated and with a focus on safety.
Do you also fill double packs or stage cylinders?
Yes, double packs and stages are generally possible – especially as part of our Nitrox and future Trimix range.
If you are coming with several cylinders, it is best to let us know briefly so that we can optimally plan the process for you.
Does my cylinder have to have TÜV (technical inspection)?
Yes. For a safe filling, the cylinder must be testable and within the valid test intervals.
If the test stamp has expired, we will be happy to help you with a note on how you can easily organise the next test.
What do I have to consider for a Nitrox filling?
The following applies to Nitrox: Cleanliness, system and planning.
We pay attention to a clean filling process – and you should ensure that your equipment and your training are suitable for the planned mixture and the dive profile.
If you want, we can briefly advise you on which mixture makes sense for your goals.
Can I use Nitrox without a course?
For the safe use of Nitrox, you need the appropriate training.
This is not a question of bureaucracy, but a question of safety – because planning, limits and procedures change.
If you don’t have the course yet: We offer it and make it clear, understandable and practical.
When will Trimix be available?
Soon.
We are building the offer in the way you expect from How2Dive: clean, structured and with quality in first place. As soon as it is officially available, we will communicate this clearly on the website and on site.
Do I need an appointment to fill up?
Most of the time it is quick and easy during business hours.
For several cylinders, double packs or special mixtures, a short message is useful – then we can prepare everything for you in a relaxed manner and without waiting time.
If you need air quickly in between, contact us via WhatsApp.
What if I am unsure which gas I need?
Then you’ve come to the right place.
We will help you to bring gas selection, planning and goal together – without technical jargon, but with a focus on what really counts: safety and a calm head in the water.
